Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
So I woke up this morning and NOTHING!!!! I was NOT impressed with David at all!!! I tried to pretend like I wasn't bothered - even though as I stated yesterday that I smashed my mobile phone screen while buying HIM a card! Yes, we did say that we wouldn't really do anything for Valentine's Day this year (money is a bit on the tight side at the moment...) but not even a card, really!?!
Anyway, I put my happy face on and went off to do the school run, hoping that not too many of my school Mum friends elaborated on the wonderful gifts, flowers and loving cards their other half had given them that morning - well of course, I would have shown happiness for them and smiled and nodded and "how lovely" would have escaped from my lips I'm sure - I am a good friend ? (all the while suppressing the green eyed monster within me!?).
On my return from the school run, my man was nowhere to be seen. I looked in his office - not there, I looked in the sitting room - not there, looked in the toilet room - not there. I then decided to check the bedroom and there he was, laying starkers on the bed, red rose gritted between his teeth (I wonder how long he'd been posing for like this ?), bunch of flowers on the bedside table with a card and a gift wrapped box - I was now one happy lady!
