iPhone - dropped!!

I did it, I only went and did it.....  I dropped my phone today in 'Card Factory'....  It made an almighty crash as it bounced around the floor, eventually landing face down, right on its screen?.  A kind lady picked it up for me whilst I was trying to put my purchases onto the counter to free up a hand to pick it up myself.  I must have looked like an incompetent air head.  She gave me that sympathy look as she saw the distraught look on my face and probably also because of my stupidity of practically throwing my phone across the floor, I mean, who forgets that they have their phone tucked under their arm - it had after all, already rung on highest volume in the quiet shop with a ring tone that can only be described as utterly and totally die of embarrassment mode (thanks for changing that kids...) and that is why I had it out of my bag - I didn't want to put it away after I'd got it out as I'd have exposed my purse and other contents of my bag and there were some suspicious looking people in the shop (all loud mouthed and spread around the shop in their dressing gowns (why wear a dressing gown to the shops?!?) and probably on the thieve ? (so judgemental Felicity, perhaps they just didn't have a coat...) so anyway, yep, you've guessed it, I smashed the screen of my phone, or so I thought..... I was soooo pleased to discover that in actual fact though, I had only busted the screen protector? I've had it a year so this is actually pretty good going for me - my last phone, I managed to drop only a few days after getting and it had no protector on it so I had to have a whole new screen replacement which cost me quite considerably....

My screen protector came FREE from EE when I took out my contract and, I get the screen protector replaced for free too if it breaks - slight problem though.... I need to find the receipt from original purchase from a year ago, errr, nope, that is so not happening!! 

Of course, the blame of me dropping my phone actually goes to my partner, Dave - I was looking for a card for Valentine's Day for him!!!?
